This is a blog post that I wrote on this website address below
http://yourattitudesucks.com/blog/?p=12
during this time I had no idea about FTC coming up
with these new rules that where almost same as
my concerns and I also made a prediction that came some what true...
I think?

Anyway this is not to brag I liked what I wrote and I thought
you might like it too...please read the post below and pass it on if you
like it...

" Hello Frank and Scott,

Thank you for your insights on how to over come procrastination and achieve
goals gradually but definitely…I would like if you all can talk a little bit more
about that 95 percent of the people either returned the ebook or just don’t succeed
because they get overwhelmed or procrastinate or just don’t take any action for
whatever reasons?

Here is one my personal experience which I think is a reason for not having
succeeded my goals yet.

I have always judged every book by its cover and believed every fantasy trip I
could have and every mansion I could own and every sports car I could line up in
my back yard.

The intensity of these thoughts that overwhelms my body, soul and mind in a good
way are through these so called perfectly written sales content. The sales letters are
the primary reasons I feel that leads people in the first place to buy stuffs that in reality
have absolute no connection with the persons ability or his financial background to
successfully execute the information completely to achieve wealth and success that
the book is pertaining or promising to accomplish.

Please don’t get me wrong I love sales letters and I am familiar with some the top
notch in our internet marketing Industry and have loads of swipe files in my hard drive...

My concerns here are simple.
I believe precaution is better than cure, So in addition to the Disclaimers on the sales
letter I feel if we could less concentrate on the rosy stuff which directly trigger our
emotions to buy without questioning our intelligence, we must only write about the
facts and figures about the product and our services that we are selling and how
realistically it can work for the buyers without a word of hype or powerful rhyming
words that puts the reader emotionally triggered as though they are on steroid to buy,
then I just auto fill the credit card details and submit! then go to sleep….
(does it ring any bell! Guys? ;) (by the way I don’t do this anymore :) !

I believe 100 percent my concerns here will surely set in practical in the near future, I
just hope it happens before we have internet marketing recession, wouldn’t it be great
to have sold only 5 percent with all those 5 percent people actually using the product
successfully and achieving their goal with your product? Isn’t that a 100 percent success
rate for the author???

I understand my concerns here goes against the rules of the marketing game and I also
understand we are not perfect. I believe eliminating hype and rosy pictures on sales letter
may reduce our leads but will surely improve the quality of of our leads."
